Biographical Info
I have always been an organizer. As a child, I was constantly optimizing my spaces and systems. I later expanded that to my friends and church. I like feeling helpful, and I LOVE helping people move, which I started in high school.
I attended the University of Cincinnati and created my own major for professional organizing. I took some courses in space-planning - architecture & interior design, some business, communication, and received a minor in psychology. At that time, it was the most radical major ever approved. I joined NAPO in 2008 and supplemented my college classes with their Professional Organizer classes.
After college I opened my business so that I could legally accept money for helping people organize. I didn't want to pursue it full-time.
I worked for three small businesses between 2011 and 2023. One in healthcare, one in energy efficiency, and one in finance. I then decided that I would be most fulfilled helping people and organizations reduce their clutter, and become more efficient and productive.
I'm currently working on downsizing and whole-house organization projects, pre and post relocation organizing, digital organizing (computers, phones, etc.), non-profit organization and efficiency, and general organizing/uncluttering.
When I'm not organizing, I love exploring San Diego. I'm perpetually hunting for the best lattes, pancakes, bakeries, burgers, cocktails, and ice cream.
On weekdays @ 6am you can find me working out with a great group of girls, and then heading to a local coffee shop to open my laptop, sip a latte and work on some digital tasks.
I also run the social events for the young adult ministry at my church. Nothing makes my extrovert heart happier than being with people. Happy Hour, game night, volunteer events, brunch, movie theater trips. Building a community where people feel welcomed and supported.
